General Board - How's the forum doing?

We are still seeing very few messages appearing yet our daily viewing by guests continue to be pretty good. Too bad people don't want to stop by and add a comment now and then.

There are other places on the Internet that continue to claim people are banned here all the time. I personally only know of 1 person kicked off of here, except for spammers that get kicked off all the time. If there are others kicked off of here, I am not aware of them (although I suspect 1 other has been, but I don't know that for a fact).

I joined this forum because I wanted a place to be able to discuss aspects of aviation around PPCs. I encourage anybody to post constructive comments or questions for discussion. The Moderators here reserve the right to delete posts and ban users have exhibit distasteful and derogatory remarks. As one of the Moderators I can say, "This is our house". If you are not going to be civil, go elsewhere.

All topics related to aviation and PPCs are open for discussion. Yes, I said All topics. But bare in mind it is how the topic is discussed matters. Bad mouthing, name calling, and other degrading comments will not be allowed.

A friend of mind recently told me that everybody deserves a second chance. So, let us talk about flying today and the future. I invite everybody, even those that have been banned, to join and post. Just don't bring your baggage from elsewhere.

No, I don't have any knowledge of a pending class. I do know of one in northern Indiana coming in January (I think) and I am sure there is others around the country.

Now that the ELSA conversion deadline is done, these classes are offered less and less. Many of the people who wanted the class have taken them, and the demand is down.

You might want to check with the Predator people down in Houston to see if they know of something. You may have to travel a few hundred miles but fortunately these classes are usually held over a weekend, so that can minimize additional expenses of a longer or multi-part course.

Another think to consider, if you have get enough people together, I believe 12 to 15, then there are those that will come to you and do the class. Keep you ear out for others, and who knows, you might get one there.

If I remember correctly, Summit was being sold by ASAP out of Canada. I Believe ASAP was selling the Summit PPC business, but I don't know who, but I believe it was an US company that purchased it. Might want to search the web for them.

Personally, I have never seen a Summit PPC, that I remember, but I have heard good things about them.

Fiberglass rod.Diameter is 3/4 inch.Tire pressure on the Quad should be about 22 PSI in front ,and more in back. That smooths things out for my 150 pounds on rough grass strip. The toe in needs to be set with a person setting forward on seat.Because it toes out when weight in seat. Also gets real squirrelly {SP} to drive if the thing is toed out and your front bracket bolts arent fairly tight on the front spindles.
